Frukwan is the main lyrics-maker of the Gravediggaz. He is also known as "The Gatekeeper". Frukwan is probably the most mysterious member of the Gravediggaz. In 1986 he was in a group called "Stetsasonic". Another member of that group was Prince Paul. When the group broke up, Frukwan didn't make a solo album or perform with another group. He reappeared only when the Gravediggaz were formed. It was again Prince Paul who was responsible for his comeback. Frukwan is a master at creating lyrics and has a special touch. He is the one who writes the most lyrics of the Gravediggaz. Frukwan is also a producer and owns the production company Black Lordz Productions. Frukwan produced 3 tracks for 'The Pick..', but only one made it to the album.
