Uncle Kracker Albums for song lyrics and biography.

Uncle Kracker was born Matthew Shafer on November 9th, 1974 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Uncle Kracker started his musical career rapping with Kid Rock. He had no previous turntables experience. Uncle Kracker worked with Kid Rock until 2000 when he released hi solo album Double Wide. The album was actually recording in Kid Rock's tour bus while Uncle Kracker was working with him! Kid Rock appears on the single Yeah Yeah Yeah.

Double Wide has sold over two million copies. Uncle Kracker's next album, No Strangert To Shame was a Rock and Blues combination that contained elements of rap and country music. The Dobie Gray hit Drift Away was covered on this album. Uncle Kracker's latest release, Seventy-Two And Sunny, is a pure Blues and Country album.
